Estimated revenue of PLN 6 billion and adjusted EBITDA of PLN 133 million – these are the preliminary consolidated financial results of the UNIMOT Group for the third quarter of 2026. The results were achieved in an exceptionally challenging market environment, driven by the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East and the resulting high volatility in energy commodity prices.
In the corresponding period of the previous year, the Group recorded revenue of PLN 3,719 million and consolidated adjusted EBITDA of PLN 88 million, respectively.
“The ongoing conflict in the Persian Gulf continues to have a significant impact on global markets and is contributing to historically high price volatility. Our response to market challenges is to consistently diversify our sources and directions of supply, while maintaining an active presence across multiple business segments, with a focus on growth and developing new revenue streams. With this in mind, in September we launched a review of the strategic development directions of the UNIMOT Group,” says Adam Sikorski, President of the Management Board of UNIMOT S.A. “We are actively expanding our operations, among others, in the defence sector, where we see significant potential. Our goal is to build an integrated platform for the Polish industry, combining the production capabilities of PZL Sędziszów, the expertise of PZL Defence, and the financial resources and international relationships of the UNIMOT Group,” adds Adam Sikorski.
In the third quarter of 2026, the liquid fuels segment generated adjusted EBITDA of PLN 34 million. The segment's performance was positively supported by fuel deliveries to Ukraine, which generated satisfactory trading margins, as well as the development of the Group's biofuels business. In March 2026, the UNIMOT Group signed long-term agreements covering the lease of production infrastructure and the operational management of facilities for the production of biocomponents and liquid biofuels.
In the third quarter of 2026, the liquid fuels segment remained under pressure from low inland premiums, which stood at approximately PLN 660/m³ at the end of September. At this level, diesel imports were unprofitable for the UNIMOT Group. Consequently, the Group partially replaced domestic sales with fuel exports. If current market conditions persist, this trend may continue in subsequent periods, affecting the geographical structure of the UNIMOT Group's revenue and its financial performance.
The increase in the UNIMOT Group's revenue in the third quarter of 2026 was primarily driven by crude oil deliveries to the PCK refinery in Schwedt, Germany, which commenced in July 2026. The value of these deliveries is recognised in the liquid fuels segment.
The bitumen segment generated adjusted EBITDA of PLN 72 million in the third quarter of 2026. Its performance is supported by a flexible business model that ensures operational and market stability, as well as the Group's significant role as an asphalt trader, helping to balance product availability on the Polish market.
The infrastructure and logistics segment continues to deliver stable financial results. In the third quarter of 2026, adjusted EBITDA amounted to PLN 43 million.
